Competition Risotto del Sommelier

On Sunday the 15th of September 2013 was held the third edition of the prestigious Sommelier Competition Risotto Rice Fair held in the Island of La Scala of Verona. The seven delegations of the Sommelier of the Veneto have carefully and thoughtfully selected competitors among the best wineries and restaurants of their own province. The coveted Gold Medal award was absolutely the best combination of wine and risotto. The winner was the combination of Pinot Grigio 2012 De Stefani and the "San Marco Risotto with ragu of guinea fowl and soft Casatella" by the chef Marco Salin of the restaurant Alla Crosarona Scorzè (Venice), masterfully selected by the AIS of Venice chief Paolo Chinellato.
