De Stefani Olmèra 2019 is the wine chosen for Alba Vitæ by AIS Veneto. A great white wine that arises from a skilful combination of Friulian Tocai and Sauvignon, which has always been among the most acclaimed and awarded wines by international critics. "We are happy to be able to contribute to this noble project with a wine, Olmèra, which we particularly care about because it represents our interpretation of the territory" declares the producer Alessandro De Stefani. "As soon as AIS Veneto proposed the project, I immediately accepted with great pleasure. Being able to be the architect of a solidarity project in favor of people in need, opened our hearts and made us very happy. We are a company and a family that has always been open to initiatives of this type ".
For the very first time, the sommelier associations of Veneto and Sicily have agreed on a charity partnership on the occasion of the Alba Vitae initiative. From the sale of the Olmera 2019 in a strictly Magnum version of the De Stefani winery, funds were raised and donated to the Cooperative Rò La Formichina in Catania. The De Stefani winery in Fossalta di Piave has been producing wines for 5 generations in the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene - the family's territory of origin - and in the Piave Valley. Their approach to the vineyard is natural, with high-density old vines and with a particular focus on the native vines of the area. In the cellar, the company works with indigenous yeasts and produces both sparkling wines and still white and red wines, all with particular character and depth.
