Tombola di Pin is the name of the vineyard where we produce this rare selection. It is located in Refrontolo, a small village on the hills between Valdobbiadene and Conegliano. 
My family is coming from that estate, where there is the house in which my great grand father, my grand father and my father were born.

"Tombola” means tip of the hill and “di Pin” means pine trees. This site is particularly suited since it is the most elevated among all the hills around and in the past it was used to take trigonometric measurements and it was marked in all the maps as a reference point.

The idea of producing the Tombola di Pin came to my father Tiziano after visiting the Champagne area in the sixties. In 1984 he imported from Champagne the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines to plant the Tombola di Pin vineyard. It is then composed with 50% each of these two grape varieties.

It is already more than 30 years we produce this Traditional Method sparkling wine and our aim is to continue to produce it under the same inspirational idea and concept that Tiziano De Stefani had when he thought about this sparkling wine for the first time: create an exclusive wine with elegance, longevity and class.
