Pursuit of excellence has always been, since 4 generations, the guideline of our production. We have therefore decided to elevate the name of our Raboso DOC to Malanotte del Piave DOCG. Malanotte was the name of the noble Venetian family, which in the 15th century valorized the viticulture of this native grape variety in the Piave Valley. Composed of Raboso Piave grapes, the vinification of this wine takes place with a drying process of a part of grapes and a maturation of 36 months on its yeasts in new oak barrels to refine and further 18 months in bottle. The current vintage of this jewel of the De Stefani family is the 2012 which has just received the flattering score of 92 points out of 100 from the prestigious American wine-guide Robert Parker, the Wine Advocate.
